Gabriel Maldonado
Gabriel first came in contact with yoga while traveling in India, where he attended his first class in Rishikesh. Since then he has been practicing and studying. Yoga came as an answer to his aspiration to learn more about himself and develop as a whole. Yoga has given him the opportunity to bring all aspects of his life together. Much more than a system of alignment and exercise, yoga has become his lifestyle and purpose.
At the beginning Gabriel began practicing and teaching Hatha Yoga in Nepal and India, where he graduated in his first 200 teacher training. The continuous practice and inspiration gave him an urge to study the subject deeper.
After his arrival in Helsinki he has been inspired by his teachers Tove Palmgren and Aadil Palkhivala (student of BKS Iyengar since the age of 7) to deepen his knowledge on the vastness of Yoga, placing attention into correct alignment in asana, meditation, nutrition and lifestyle. He has completed his 200 hour Teacher Training at the College of Purna Yoga and he is currently being trained by Aadil Palkhivala himself at the 500 hour level.
Gabriel is also a Lawyer and his dream is to inspire people to take charge of their lives and to understand their true potential.
