Alessandra Vairo

Alessandra comes from Brazil. She is a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor. Since 2014 she’s been working with exercise rehabilitation, Pilates and functional training. As a physiotherapist but also a half-marathon runner, she’s been using Pilates to keep her muscles and posture in good condition. Due to her background in health clinics, sports and Pilates studios, her classes are dynamic and creative, focusing on strength and mobility.

At the moment she is studying her Master degree in Biology of Physical Activity (Biomechanics) at the University of Jyväskylä (2019–21). Alessandra has a specialization in Orthopedic and Trauma Physiotherapy (Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Clinics Hospital of Medical School, University São Paulo HCFM USP, Brazil). She also has a degree in Physiotherapy (Medical School of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, FMRP USP, Brazil) and comprehensive Pilates Training (Brazilian Institute of Pilates, Ebra) as well as postural ball & gymnastic knowledge.
